Deposits: To secure a reservation, a 50% deposit of the total accommodation tariff, must be received.
Tariffs are subject to change without notice. Tariffs, on confirmed reservations for which a deposit has been received, will be held.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
- Less than 7 days, forfeit the full deposit.
- From 7 to 14 days, forfeit 75% of the deposit.
- From 14 to 21 days, forfeit 50% of the deposit.
- From 21 to 28 days, forfeit 25% of the deposit.
- Before 30 days, forfeit 10% of the deposit.
Banking fees will be deducted from the amount refunded to guests.
Refunds: If you qualify for a refund – Hopetown Guest Cottage will make refunds to guests 30 days after refund was requested. The Terms and Conditions are deemed as being accepted on receipt of the bank deposit. Accommodation will automatically be cancelled if the deposit is not received by the due date. Deposits are not refundable in the event of a ‘non arrival’. No persons other than those quoted and paid for, are permitted to share the accommodation. Banking fees will be deducted from the amount refunded to guests.
Refunds to bank accounts outside of South Africa (International transfers) : Banking fees will be deducted from the amount refunded to guests.
Smoking: No smoking indoors - Please note that you, your company or booking agency will be charged for dry-cleaning of bedding, curtains and carpets if you disregard our non-smoking policy!
No music or dancing permitted on the premises. We also expect guests to respect other guests by behaving in a good manner. This especially refers to making noise after 9pm. Right of admission reserved.
